Born to the family of Retired Rev and Mrs Elijah Olaigbetundun Adeloye. He studied at Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomosho and obtainned M.Div in 2001, University of Ado-Ekiti now Ekiti State University, he had Master of Arts in Christian Theology from Liverpool Hope University, Liverpool, United Kingdom in 2012 and PhD in Church History from Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Abeokuta in 2017.
He joined the faculty of Baptist College of Theology, Lagos in August,2003 and has served College as Supervised Ministry Coordinator, Director of Students' Affairs, Chaplain and Director of Academic Affairs.
He specialises in Church History and Mission and he has over twenty five article to his credit.
